Stick with it
Wisconsin Conservatives,
Don’t let tonight’s election results upset your or goad you into any sort of compromise in the interest of your elected seat.
You were not elected to be re-elected. You were elected based on your views and what those views and opinions mean in legislative decisions. If you compromise those views, you will not only lose your position by the hand of the opposition, but by your (former) supporters.
Today’s Tea Party will not stand for a public servant that does not do what is best for your constituents. That does not necessarily mean you need to listen to the loudest of them, but understand and stick to the principles of individual freedom and liberty.
The fiscal irresponsibility this state and country have endured in the past cannot sustain our republic for much longer. Irrational arguments about ‘rights’ will not fool the educated members of society.
Stick with your plans. This state is an odd group, but your decisions will be better for everyone. This may be obvious to some, but should become apparent for everyone soon.
